Privacy & safety

Your private space stays private

Your reflections, prayer journal, commitments, saved Scriptures, and self-study progress are visible only to you. Facilitators and other group members cannot see them.

Homework

  • When you submit homework, your name and your answers to study questions, observations, and “Bring Your Question” are shared with your group’s facilitator.
  • Private reflections and prayers in homework stay on your device and are never submitted. Some reflections offer a checkbox to share; they are shared only if you check it.
  • Homework links are long, random, and expire. Facilitators can close a link at any time. A link never shows other participants’ answers.
  • Unsubmitted homework progress is saved only in your browser on that device.

Groups

Each group’s studies, homework, members, and submissions are separate. People in one group cannot see another group’s information.

Email

Facilitators may add you to an email list only with your permission. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and we record when an email provider accepted a message. We do not sell or share your information.

Meet Me in the Word

Recommendations come from a human-reviewed topic library, matched by keywords; verse text is retrieved from the King James Version via GetBible (getbible.net). Only Scripture references—never what you type—are sent to GetBible. Explanations are study commentary, and prayers are suggestions—neither is Scripture or a message from God. What you type is used only to find passages and is not stored unless you choose to save a reflection.
